During the weekend's operations in the border town of Dajabón and its surroundings, members of the Dominican Intelligence Service (DOILF), attached to the Cesfront, arrested and detained several Haitians and Dominicans for various offenses.

A Haitian, identified as Alce Raynel, a 41-year-old resident of Cap-Haïtien, who was driving a white Isuzu pickup truck, registered TQ 15404, was detained after 85 packages of cigarettes Haitian "Comme il Faut" was discovered abord, he was arrested at the KM4 of the Montecristi-Dajabón road, as he was heading towards the city of Santiago, to sell his goods.

Another Haitian, identified as Edmond Joseph, a 19-year-old resident of Ounaminthe, was detained after he was tempted to cross the border bridge of that city on a white CG 150 stolen motorcycle.

On the other hand, a Dominican, identified as Leonardo Martínez Peña, was arrested in the southern sector of the city of Dajabón, while carrying 15 cases of 24 bottles of rum from Haiti in a red van brand Mazda.

The goods were seized and the detainees were taken to the office of the Inter-Agency of Cesfront in Dajabón for legal suites.
