iciHaiti - Event : «Villa Rosa Tap-Tap», 2 days of activities

The "Villa Rosa Tap-Tap" (VRTT) event organized by the "Co-creation and Development" COCREAD will take place on 21 and 22 December 2016 in Canapé Vert square and Villa Rosa.

VRTT, a project initiated by Cocread in collaboration with the Dutch Favela Painting Foundation aims to transform public urban spaces from disadvantaged places, into art work and to stimulate entrepreneurship at grassroots level through a sustainable community process. The project combines painting, entrepreneurship and reconstruction. At the end of this initiative was born "Team Boyo", a group of young people from the community who volunteered to direct the painting operations.

Three major activities during these two days :

A puzzle competition for children ages 9 to 12, with art paintings taken from the painting component of the VRTT project ;
A women's football tournament to promote the integration of girls in community initiatives ;
An exhibition and sale of products of the young artisans of the community to stimulate the art in the community of Villa Rosa.

Program :

21 December 2016 :
3h30 p.m. First round of the puzzle competition ;
5h00 p.m. First round of the women's football tournament.

22 December 2016 :
2h00 p.m. to 10h00 p.m. : Point of sale of products made in Villa Rosa ;
5h00 p.m. Final of puzzle contest and final of women's football tournament ;
5h45 p.m. Contest of reproduction of the image of the project by the children ;
8h00 p.m. to 10h00 p.m. Talent show.
