Haiti - History : Exhibition «Memory Released» at the Museum of the National Pantheon

The international traveling exhibition "Memories Released" (Mémoires Libérées) continues at the Museum of the Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) until January 4, 2017 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19232-haiti-news-zapping-politics.html . Prepared by 5 countries (France, Cameroon, Senegal, Haiti and Antigua), it is defined as an innovative cultural product and a tourist promotion tool. This exhibition has been conceived around two parts, one historical and the other artistic. It first presents the history of the slave trade and slavery at the global level and then the local experiences, in particular through the development of sites and places of memory.

In French and English, this exhibition deals with a global history that affected the three shores of the Atlantic and part of the Indian Ocean. Encouraging the development of sites and places of memory of the slave trade and slavery, within the framework of a Cultural Tourism and strong memory, this exhibition should find many visitors attentive.
