iciHaiti - Circus : Three young Haitian artists in training in Montreal
Three young circus performers from the Haitian troupe "Cirque Local" : Junior Prophète, Guerlin Antoine and Mackenzie Dunophin, recently came to Montreal to carry out a improvement training course at the invitation of "Clowns Sans Frontières".

During their stay they attended shows and have been trained by professionals, including in hand-to-hand, clown game, juggling as well as safety of the arts of fire. They also had the opportunity to meet with influential members of the government and the circus community, including the warm teams of ArtCirq, Cirque du Soleil, National Circus School, Garde-Feu, Productions Kalabanté and of the TOHU.

Recall that since 2014, the artistic association of international solidarity "Clowns Sans Frontières" intervenes regularly in Haiti with the most deprived populations. In a spirit of solidarity, equality and cooperation, the organization invited three artists from the troup "Cirque Local", that "Clowns Sans Frontières" has accompanied for three years.

Thanks to "Clowns Without Borders" and its partners, the Haitian troupe "Cirque Local" has benefited from many hours of accompaniment and training, which now allows the artists to earn a living more worthily. The activities offered by the organization allow local artists to live their art while ensuring the transmission of knowledge and values to future generations.
