We, the members of the FEDHE, are convinced that your team and you will make every effort to strengthen republican institutions, establish a rule of law, that obeys the laws and recommendations of the constitution, establish a society based on justice which will apply to all citizens. We also hope to see the general states of the nation realized in order to guarantee true social cohesion and unprecedented national unity. Mr President, may this new year 2017 enable the Diaspora to renew its commitment to participate in the process of reconstruction and sustainable development in Haiti and to continue working for the integration of Haitians living abroad into the social, political and economic life of Haiti."
