Haiti - Social : Sharing Day at the Communal Asylum of Port-au-Prince
As part of January 6, which brings the traditional Epiphany, popular in the Haitian community, the Department of Social and Cultural Affairs of the City of Port-au-Prince organized a day under the sign of friendship and solidarity for the residents of the Communal Asylum.

The wife of the de facto President, Dr. Ginette Michaud Privert, whose it was the second visit was accompanied by mayors Kettyna Bellabe, Bernard Joseph and Asylum staff, called for a better management of the premises with the support of everyone and expressed the wish that this institution be equipped with modern infrastructures with a suitable staff that can respond adequately to the needs of the residents.

Mayor Kettyna Bellabe renewed the strong will of the Port-au-Prince administration to work tirelessly for the cause of the elderly. For the Mayor, it is imperative that the Asylum can enable the institutional care of the residents by caring them, giving them the necessary calming and accompaniment.

This day was marked by the delivery of the keys of a bus to the Head of the Service of the Communal Asylum. For their part, the residents received many gifts and also shared a good snack for a beautiful celebration of the Epiphany.
