iciHaiti - NOTICE : 12 January, flags at half-mast
The Office of Communication of the Prime Minister informs the population and the media that by decree dated January 6, 2017, the date of January 12 of each year is now declared "National day of reflection and awareness on the vulnerability of Haiti face the risks and disasters".

"On Thursday, 12 January 2017, the national flag will be flown at half-mast, nightclubs and similar establishments will remain closed and the radio and television stations are invited to schedule broadcasts and music of circumstance."

In addition, the Government invites all sectors to reflect on the country's fragility face the major natural hazards and to "work to reduce this vulnerability, which has so bereaved our families."
