This week in Cap-Haitien took place the taking of the oath and the installation of the new Director of the Haitian National Police (PNH) for the North Department.

Inspector General Hervé Julien proceeded during a ceremony to the installation of Divisional Commissioner Prévil Jean Castro as the new Director of the North Departmental Directorate (DDN) of the PNH.

Commissioner Castro replaces to this position Commissioner Frantz Georges, who has been promoted to the Central Directorate of Administration and General Services after leading the DDN during the last 15 months.
