Sunday Alex Jospitre, the Chief of Mission of the Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Suriname and Vice Consul Rosario Alexandre, accompanied by Mission staff, visited several Churches of the Haitian community to renew their best wishes to the leaders, Pastors and Haitian families of Suriname.

In his remarks of circumstance Consul Jospitre has not stopped preaching for unity and peace among all Haitians, a prerequisite for sustainable development. It was also the opportunity for the Consul to request a special prayer for the families, friends and relatives of the disappeared during the tragedy of 12 January 2010.

The Head of Mission also emphasized the accompaniments and supports that the Consulate will continue to offer our brothers and sisters during the year 2017 "The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti In Suriname once again presents its sincere thanks to all Haitian Religious Authorities and Church Members for their warm welcome [...]
