iciHaiti - Training : Urbanism certificate delivery

This Friday, January 20th, at the Marriott Hotel, in the presence of Ministers Aviole Fleurant (Planning) and Dieuseul Simon Desras (Environment) and the European Union Ambassador, Vincent Degert, will take place the closing and delivery of certificates of the continuing education in urban management, led by the Interministerial Committee for Territorial Development (CIAT) in partnership with the French Association AGIRabcd and the European Union.
This training aimed at strengthening the production capacity of urban planning and urban management documents of Haitian public sector professionals, implemented over 10 5-day sessions since October 2015, is part of the Inter-Institutional Support Program for Urban Functions, an integral part of the European Union's Program for Support to the Reconstruction and Development of Neighborhoods (PARAQ).
In the program of this closing session :
- Presentation and return of the contributions of this training ;
- Synthetic presentations by participants of their work produced during the program ;
- Round table between various actors of the sector on the challenges of training in the field of urban planning in Haiti as well as prospects for the perpetuation of this type of training ;
- Presentation of certificates to participants by the Ambassador of the European Union (at noon).
