Jovenel Moses during his visits recalled the incessant struggles led by Haitian society to protect itself from the right to speak, one of the main corollaries of the rule of law. He took the opportunity to give the guarantee that his presidency will work to consolidate the gains of freedom of expression and the strengthening of republican institutions.

While thanking the journalists for their social commitment, he promised to remain with the press as part of his relentless struggle for the development of the country.
