On Tuesday, Dominique Anglade, the Quebec Minister of Economics, Science and Innovation, officially represented Quebec at the official inauguration ceremonies of the President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20030-haiti-inauguration-jovenel-moise-58th-president-of-haiti.html , The opportunity for Quebec to offer the new President of Haiti "its support and wishes for success in fulfilling the important mandate entrusted to him by his people."

"I am honored to represent Quebec during these ceremonies. It was also an opportunity to underline our deep attachment to this country of La Francophonie and its people. International collaborations such as those we have with Haiti are valuable levers of economic and social development, mutually beneficial and we must continue to open our horizons so that other partnerships will be born," declared Minister Anglade

During her stay, Minister Anglade met with representatives of the Haitian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce of Women Entrepreneurs of Haiti.
