Thus at the overcrowded Prison of Les Cayes where piles 627 detainees under unimaginable conditions, 3 detainees died of hunger due to severe malnutrition... The South Departmental Office of the Citizens' Protection Office (OPC) urges the prison authorities to provide the necessary assistance without delay for prisoners who do not currently receive a sufficient daily food...
