Friday, the Sanitary Directorate of North East, in collaboration with Plan International Haiti and the Centre for Development and Health, launched the formation of 50 new Polyvalent Community Health Agents (ASCP) and 5 supervisors for the communes of Fort-Liberté, Ouanaminthe and Capotille. This four-month training is aligned with the new Ministry of Health policy, which aims to create a single network of healthy workers.

The support of Plan International Haiti, through the "Strengthening Health Outcomes for Women" (SHOW) project, aims to complement the Ministry's efforts to ensure adequate coverage according to the quota 1 ASCP for 200 to 250 families.

Let's recall that the SHOW project supported by World Affairs Canada and Plan International Canada, wants to contribute to the improvement of health indicators in the Northeast department, especially in the area of Maternal Neonatal and Child.
