iciHaiti - Colombia : Seizure of 410kg of cocaine destined for Haiti

At 40 miles north of Puerto Bolívar (La Guajira) in Colombia, rapid response units of the Colombian military navy intercepted a powerful outboard. Left from Cabo de la Vela, the boat carried 16 packages of cocaine, totaling 410 kilograms, valued at $10 millions. The speedboat was detected by surveillance aircraft and reconnaissance SR-560 of the "Comando Aéreo de Combate No. 3".
During the operation, three men were arrested, apparentlyat the service of the Usugaet Clan and were tasked to transport the drug in Haiti.
