iciHaiti - Politics : Jovenel Moïse salutes Haitian radio stations
This week, as part of the celebration of World Radio Day, President Jovenel Moïse welcomed the commitment of Haitian radio stations. Celebrated this year under the theme "Radio is you" this day was the occasion for the Head of State to honor the work of the owners of the radios in Haiti, often carried out in difficult and precarious circumstances.

The Head of State considered that this mass media, because of its accessibility by the most remote populations of the country, "must continue to play its role of education, training and information for the benefit of integral development of Haitian people" Moïse also called on media officials to sharpen their sense of responsibility by seeking at all times to produce a quality speech free from any attempt to undermine the country's socio-political equilibrium.

The President of the Republic, while wishing a good world radio day to all media owners, journalists, presenters, staff of these institutions and listeners, reaffirmed his firm determination to promote freedom of speech and to accompany the media in their struggle for the emancipation and progress of Haiti.
