iciHaiti - Security : Solar street lamps against «red zones»

As part of the fight against insecurity, 115 solar street lamps were installed by the Association of Professionals for the Enhancement of Handicrafts (APREMMAH), in the communes of Cap-Haïtien, Plaine du Nord, Milot and Acul du Nord, in places known as "red zones" in matters of public security.

The installation works were funded to the tune of US $ 200,000 by the Community Violence Reduction (RVC) Section of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH)

The objective of the project was to combat community insecurity and create conditions for students to review their note and for residents to pursue their business, leisure or business safely.
