iciHaiti - Security : Awareness for 600 police aspirants to the management of natural risks

A team of executives from the Civil Protection Department of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government organized two information and awareness sessions at the National Police Academy for about 600 police aspirants, on the management of the risks of major natural hazards in Haiti.
This team, led by Roosevelt Compère, Prevention Coordinator in this directorate, presented, with many interactions, some basic notions in the field, but also the history of the commitment of the Haitian State in terms of risk reduction, the place, role and responsibilities of the National Police of Haiti within the National Risk Management System.
A third session is expected to reach a total of 900 police aspirants of the 27th promotion of the Haitian National Police.
