Jean Baden Dubois, Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), in the presence of the other members of the Board of Directors of the central bank, and several colleagues and friends, proceeded last week to the installation of Égard Jeudy as new Director General of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF). He replaces Serge Merger.

Egard Jeudy is a public accountant graduated from INAGHEI, former Assistant Director in the Finance Department of BRH where he has been working for more than 10 years. He is also a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Economics of UEH.

The FDI was created by decree on March 20, 1981, with the mission to promote the industrial development of Haiti, taking care of the financing needs of small and medium-sized enterprises with potential for job creation, of generation of foreign currencies, the creation of added value, the valuation of local raw materials and operating in a manner that is not harmful to the environment.
