iciHaiti - Diaspora : Donation of Science and engineering books for Haiti

Until March 31, 2017, the Group of Reflection and Action for a New Haiti (GRAHN-World) invites the community of Polytechnique to give books of science and engineering for the benefit of the Scientific and Cultural Library of the Great North of Haiti, a university that provides master's and doctoral level training courses in Haiti since 2013. This library will be in operation from 2018 in the university sector of the Cité du savoir, a multi-purpose complex that is under construction on a 28-hectare site in Genipailler, in the commune of Milot https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-20039-icihaiti-event-the-builders-of-the-cite-du-savoir-call-for-donations.html

Students in Baccalauréat and graduate studies, Baccalauréat and graduate studies, professors and graduates of Polytechnique Montréal are invited by GRAHN-Monde to give books on science and engineering, which have been published over the last twenty years and which are in good condition, for university students and the general population in Haiti. Other types of academic books, novels and children's books in excellent condition are also accepted.

The collection of books at Polytechnique Montréal is carried out with the collaboration of the Library and of Reprography Department of the institution. Until March 31, 2017, the books may be deposited at the reprographic counter, at room C-225 of the main pavilion, or at the Library's Lending Service counter at Room L-7600 of the Pierre-Lassonde Pavilion.
