iciHaiti - Economy : Major mission in Haiti of the European Investment Bank
On Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 March, a delegation from the European Investment Bank (EIB) is leading an important mission in Haiti.
Conducted by René Perez, EIB Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean, the delegation will take advantage of his stay to meet with President Jovenel Moïse, officials from various institutions, including the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), the Ministry of Public Works, the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH), the National Airport Authority (NAA), the National Civil Aviation Authority (OFNAC).
During this mission, various proposals will be formulated to the sectors encountered, with a view to setting up a financial mechanism aimed at the economic development of Haiti.
