Tomorrow, Thursday, March 9, at the Hotel Karibe, the Chief of the Sûreté du Québec contingent in Haiti, accompanied by the Director General of the Quebec police institution, Martin Prud'Homme, will proceed to the delivery of bulletproof vests to the National Police of Haiti (PNH). This ceremony will take place prior to the medal ceremony for the Canadian contingent.

On this occasion, the Director General of the Sûreté du Québec, or his representative, will address a few words to the guests to formalize the donation of the vests to the PNH, on his behalf and on behalf of the involved partners of the Embassies of Canada and the United States that will be present. He proceed to the protocolary delivery and will give some general lines of the project which will be spread over several months.

This event will take place as part of the visit of the members of the State mayor of the Sureté in Haiti to attend the medal ceremony to Canadians part of the United Nations Civilian Police (UNPOL).
