iciHaiti - Economy : «Undertake in Haiti, the future starts now»
On Thursday, the Henry Christophe Campus of the State University of Haiti, to Limonade, organized a series of workshops around the theme : "Undertake in Haiti, the future starts now".

This initiative, which was meant to be a stimulator of change, innovation and creativity for young people, was funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) aimed to initiate a dialogue to identify opportunities to support entrepreneurship in the North .

To encourage young people to invest in entrepreneurship, the organizers had invited entrepreneurs from the Haitian business sector, including Pierre Yves Gardère, CEO of SISALCO and Patrice Bayard, of peintures Caraibe that shared with young people their experiences and advice to transform an innovative business idea into a successful business.

The Embassy of Canada in Haiti was represented at the event by three experts: Emma Williams, Director of Notman House in Montreal; Luc Lalande, Executive Director of theEntrepreneurship Hub of the University of Ottawa uOttawa and Thibaud Marechal of Real Ventures Montreal, they respectively conducted workshops on "Pitching" business idea to investors and potential partners, the university experience in entrepreneurship and the creation of a network of investors for startups in Haiti.
