Wednesday at the Servotel Hotel (near Toussaint Louverture International Airport), 20 Haitian National Police (PNH) executives, women and men from the West Department, will participate to a in training on Specialized Community Police.

This training is part of the activities of UNPol, the Community Police Unit of the Police Component of the Minustah, in partnership with the PNH Community Police Unit.

It constitutes a privileged framework for professionalisation of community police to better train them in the values of community policing and key crime prevention strategies.

Similar training will take place in Jacmel, Cap Haïtien, Hinche and Saint Marc in April and May 2017 for the benefit of 80 other PNH executives from these departments.
