Tuesday 28 March 2017, a conference-debate will be held at the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) on the theme "Haiti, the transfer of funds : Impacts on the National Economy". The objective of this conference is to initiate a reflection on this issue in the perspective of defining a global economic policy.

This is more specifically :

- To analyze the incoming and outgoing flows (Components and destinations);

- To establish the link between remittances, balance of payments and value of the Gourde;

- To assess the impact of transfers on the national economy;

- To learn lessons for a global policy.
