The activities of the "Quinzaine de la Francophonie" were officially launched this week in the presence of representatives of the French-speaking Embassies (Canada, Switzerland and France) and the appointed Ministers: Antonio Rodrigue (External Affairs) and Limond Toussaint (Culture), at a press conference in the gardens of the Ministry of Culture.

During two weeks (15 to 31 March 2017), dozens of events will be organized in the Haitian capital as well as in the provincial cities around the theme "Haitian youth facing the challenges of the Francophonie."

During the press conference, David Bongard, Director of the Regional Office for the Caribbean and Latin American Countries (BRECAL) gave an overview of the activities to which associated the International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF) within the framework of this fortnight, but also of its own manifestations.
