iciHaiti - Diaspora : Organizations and personalities satisfied with the maintaining of MHAVE
A group of committed organizations and personalities from the Haitian Diaspora has noted with satisfaction, ambition and hope that the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) will remain in the list of ministries chosen by the Moïse/Lafontant Government.

The Group stresses "[...] at a time when migration around the world is experiencing mutations that are worrying, notably by a rise in nationalism in certain countries hosting our compatriots; when the meager record of the MHAVE after 22 years of existence is unacceptable for an organ of great potentialities; when the deadline of July for Haitians living in the Dominican Republic is worrying or following the many natural hazards that have hit the country during the last 20 years, the inter-Haitian cooperation is to be structured; the diaspora in its diversity, its capacities and especially its willingness to serve the 'alma mater' demands a committed leadership, emblematic, competent and above all accustomed to major issues that concern 'Aysien ki anndan, Aysien ki deyo'

Thus, the struggle to create a Ministry worthy of its Diaspora, committed finally to the effective way of effectiveness and efficiency has only just begun. So the future of MHAVE must be entrusted to a team that is about to instrumentalize its institutional revival, which must take the form of a political project for the total inclusion of all Haitians [...]"
