Haiti - Tourism : Towards a new strategy in Haiti

Monday at the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal Consul General Justin Viard met with Alex Jean Philippe and Richemond Chéry, respectively President and Vice-President of the tour operator "Zoom sur Haïti", a travel specialist in Haiti who develops a vision based on the concept of sustainable tourism by proposing tourist solutions accessible to all.

Let's recall that the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal has been working with Zoom on Haiti for a long time, as part of its initiatives to promote tourism in Haiti. The objective of this meeting was to study new strategies for the development of tourism in Haiti and the relaunching of the various partnerships signed over the last few years under the leadership of the Consul Viard, among others: the partnership between Tourisme Montréal and the Ministry of Tourism of Haiti and the partnership between "Zoom sur Haïti" and the Ministry of Tourism of Haiti.

A next meeting is scheduled for April 3rd.
