From 4th to 18th April, Caracoli and the walking band Follow Jah will welcome the Belgian band "La Nouvelle Flibuste" or cultural exchanges and joint performances in four towns of the country : Pétion-ville, Léogâne, Jacmel and Peredo.

The two groups met for the first time in 2015, on the occasion of an evening which ended the stay in Haiti of the Nouvelle Flibuste who came to participate in the Carnival of Jacmel at the invitation of the Ministry of Tourism. In 2016, the two groups met in Belgium where the walking band Follow Jah took part in the Zinneke Parade.

For this third meeting, the two groups will leave to discover the raras of Pétion-ville in Peredo. They will deepen their musical collaboration during public performances, notably on Thursday 6 April in Pétion-ville or on Wednesday 12 April in Jacmel.

They will spend a few days with the Union of rara of Léogâne and in parades of rara of Peredo. In parallel, they will carry out educational activities with the children of Berthé, of students of the school of music Dessaix Baptiste or even in schools of Peredo.

The joint tour of the walkinbg band Follow Jah and the Belgian fanfare La Nouvelle Flibuste is supported by the International Organization of la Francophonie, Swiss Cooperation in Haiti and FOKAL.
