The objective of the project is to assist the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) to conduct, analyze and disseminate the findings of the Fifth Population and Housing Census and strengthen the human and technological capacities of the institute. Recall that IHSI is an institution responsible for producing accurate, reliable and timely information on all aspects of economic, social, demographic and other phenomena and making them available to governmental bodies, national and international bodies and users of all kinds. Working at the center of the National Statistical System, the IHSI, as the deconcentrated body of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, collaborates with the statistical services of other ministries and maintains privileged relations with national and international institutions both producers and users of statistical information.
