Haitian referee Jean-Marc Moreau is part of a list of 30 assistant referees pre-selected by the Confederation of North American, Central American and Caribbean Football (CONCACAF) to referee the matches of the Gold Cup 2017.

After this stage, Jean-Marc Moreau must now qualify by participating in two international matches and from May 11 to 14 in Dallas (USA), he will undergo five tests : three video tests, one physical test and one test on the theoretical knowledge. Rosnyck Grant, the President of the National Referees Commission (Cona) said he was confident of Jean-Marc Moreau's success "I am not worried about him regarding these tests. I can bet that he will make at least 8 out of 10 on all tests."
