iciHaiti - Port-de-Paix : Fire of the Library of the School of the Brothers of Saint Joseph

The Association of Librarians, Documentalists and Archivists of Haiti (ABDAH) learned with dismay the news of the fire, on Saturday, April 8, 2017, of the library of the school of the Brothers of Saint Joseph in Port-de-Paix .
Luc Steve Honoré, the President of the ABDAH in a note of solidarity calls for solidarity and "[...] attracts the attention of all the population, the elders of the school of the Brothers of Saint Joseph living in Haiti or abroad, of all political and local development leaders and decision-makers, and those in the information sector, especially those in the book chain and of document, so that they can provide all the necessary support that will enable the library to function again so that it can pursue its noble mission of training and passing on knowledge to young people from today and tomorrow."
