As part of World Amateur Radio Day celebrated on Tuesday 18 April, Jean Marie Altema, the Director General of the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL), welcomes the commitment of the members of Amateur Radio Corporation in Haiti

"World Amateur Radio Day is another opportunity for CONATEL to honor the noble and disinterested work of Haitian amateur radio operators, often working in difficult and precarious conditions to communicate, relay information and help save lives, especially at the time of natural disasters.
