On Thursday, as part of the Executive's efforts to encourage local production and express solidarity with entrepreneurs in the agro-industry sector, President Jovenel Moïse visited the cereal production company "Caribbean Food Manufacturing" located in Santo 17.

"We will work to encourage maize production across the country, especially in the South, a major corn producer and other departments. We will also encourage agribusiness entrepreneurs to multiply factories across the country," said the Head of State, which promises support to food producers for animals and incentives by reviewing with the Central Bank and the Ministry of Economy the investment code.

"There will be no progress in agricultural production, without the transformation of products. The establishment of factories specializing in the processing of agricultural products in the production areas is fundamental !" stressed Jovenel Moïse, who recalled the obligation for the State to create conditions necessary for investment and job creation.
