iciHaiti - Diaspora : Samuel Pierre receives the El Fasi Prize

At its 4th edition, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) awarded the El Fasi Prize to Professor Samuel Pierre, a Canadian of Haitian origin, an internationally renowned expert who has worked for 25 years in the field of information and communication. This Prize, presented every four years, crowns the work of a prominent figure in the Francophonie networks.
Professor holder aAt the Department of Computer Engineering and Software Engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, he also acted as an Expert for the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF). Samuel Pierre has to his credit more than 500 scientific publications and numerous academic distinctions. It should be remembered that Professor Samuel is one of the founders and President of GRAHN-Monde and the quarterly journal "Haïti Perspectives" published by GRAHN.
