The Festival will present films on the social and cultural life of Haiti. It will also have a special evening of short films, including the screening of a number of graduate films from the Jacmel Ciné Institue. People honored : Arnold Antonin, a Haitian filmmaker and producer known for his social, political and cultural commitment to Haiti; the Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean Louis of Haitian origin, interpreter of Toussaint Louverture and an impressive CV of international actor and the American-Haitian film-maker Rachelle Salnave whose important filmography cover various relevant subjects on the Haitian communities in the United States and Haiti.
