Tuesday, early in the morning in the locality of Canyas, at the level of Fort-Liberté (11th communal section of Petot-Goâve), two individuals attacked a woman and a man who were going to downtown Petit-Goâve.

One of the gangsters pointed a false revolver on them, unfortunately for him, the threatened man defended himself by stabbing one of the assailants who tried to seize the woman's suitcase, causing the flee of the two criminals, the severely wounded individual, who was bleeding profusely, was intercepted by the population of Fort-Liberté, who began to lynch him. The police intervened quickly on the scene and the injured individual was transported to the Notre Dame hospital where he passed away.

Judge of Peace, Jean Jude Leandre made the legal finding, but the identity of the deceased aggressor was not revealed.
