On Tuesday, 16 May, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is organizing a day of reflection on the creation of a Parliamentary Front against Hunger (FPF) in Haiti.

This meeting, which will be attended by Members of Parliament from the Standing Committees of the Parliament, is part of the FAO Technical Cooperation with the Government of Haiti for the implementation of policies and strategies for agricultural development and improvement of Food security and nutrition in Haiti.

FAO Special Ambassador Zero Hunger for Latin America and the Caribbean, Ms. Guadalupe Valdez, Former Deputy and Coordinator of the Parliamentary Front Against Hunger in the Dominican Republic, will lead the day.
