Monday, following the arrest last week, on her place of work, of Marie Violette Bijoux, an employee of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE), her colleagues stopped working in solidarity, demanding the immediate release of their colleague, describing the arrest as illegal, although they are unaware of the reason.

The paralysis of the DIE has caused the anger of many taxpayers unable to retrieve their passports.
