Last week, in Marrakech (Morocco), the Prize Louis d'Hainaut for the best thesis in educational technology awarded by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the University of Mons (Belgium) was awarded to Haitian Ben-Manson Toussaint for his thesis entitled "Automatic learning from heterogeneous multisource traces for the modeling of perceptual-gestural knowledge", supported on October 12, 2015 at the University of Grenoble (France).

This annual Prize , which is in its 4th edition, is reserved for a Francophone doctor whose thesis was supported less than 3 years ago. The Prize has an international vocation and is open to any researcher from the French-speaking university (outside West Europe and North America) who has obtained a doctoral thesis in a member institution of the AUF network. The subject of this thesis must imperatively concern the use of technologies in education, independently of the discipline of belonging and must constitute a contribution to the evolution of the scientific knowledge in the field.
