iciHaiti - Politics : Meeting on projects financed by the IDB 26/05/2017 09:10:49
The objective was to take stock of completed projects and to see the prospects for new projects under the 5th operation financed by the IDB. It also sought to draw lessons from the projects already carried out in order to better guide future actions for the effectiveness of new projects. The problems identified in the implementation of school infrastructure projects and the improvement of the quality of education were at the center of the exchanges. One of the recommendations included a greater involvement of local communities and local firms in project implementation, which would improve project effectiveness, lower costs and improve supervision.
