iciHaiti - Social : BSEIPH visits the Haitian Society for the Aid to the Blind

A team from the Office of the Secretary of State (Gérald Oriol Jr.) for the Integration of People with Disabilities (BSEIPH) visited the Haitian Society for the Aid to the Blind (SHAA).
The SHAA specialized institution for blind children and young people advocates the application of the legal framework for the protection of the rights of people with disabilities and has been working assiduously for more than one year for the adoption of the Marrakech Treaty.
Founded in 1952, the SHAA is celebrating its 65th year of supervision of people with disabilities, especially the blind. On its premises, the SHAA has, among other things, a specialized library open to the general public and offers courses to blind people using modern and adapted materials.
