Haiti - Social : Mothers' Day at Government 30/05/2017 09:53:42
Dozens of mothers and ministry employees took part in the ceremony, marked by songs and testimonies of affection for those who courageously perform their duty as mothers while contributing to the proper functioning of the Ministry. Before to wish "Happy Mother's Day" to all mothers, Minister Lamur gave them gifts and welcomed their determination to work to help the Ministry fulfill its mission. Moreover, on Sunday on the occasion of Mother's Day, the new Bureau of Social Grievances https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20929-haiti-politics-installation-of-members-of-the-bureau-of-social-grievances.html provided one-time assistance to approximately 420 women, including food products. Fednel Monchery, the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior, who was present at this celebration, expressed in his speech "his deep admiration for these courageous women and indefatigable mothers who work unceremoniously to grow their offspring in dignity, to ensure the future of the Nation."
