iciHaiti - Diaspora : Haitian Cultural Week in Brussels

As part of the EU-funded European Culture Program (PEC) (Pwogram Ewopeyen pou Kore Kilti), the Haitian Cultural Week, which will take place from 8 to 11 June, in collaboration with the association "Kenbe Fem" and the "Théâtre de Poche" in Brussels, will host the interactive exhibition of photos on Haitian culture by Andrea Ruffini, supplemented by a series of videos on the work of artists and artisans in their context.

This exhibition will also showcase the works of Haitian craftsmen and Italian designer Arturo Vitori have produced within the framework of the European Program for Culture (PEC) and will present finally, more traditional handicrafts and jewelry collections, bags and decorative items sold by the Belgian shop Label Creole.

On Friday, June 9, a concert with the singer Roosevelt Saillant alias "BIC", will represent Haiti alongside Haitian artists living in Belgium (Vévé and DJ Kwak,) will close the Haitian cultural week and the "Théâtre de Poche" season.
