Haiti - FLASH : Police officer suspect of complicity in burglary

Monday, Commissioner Frantz St-Armand, in charge of the Delmas police station, informed that on the night from 4 to 5 June 2017, following a burglary attempt at the CAM Transfert, located not far from Police station, two of the bandits were arrested and another was fatally wounded while trying to escape.

In addition, he indicated that disciplinary action had been taken against the agent 3 Stevenson Ethéart, suspected of complicity in the attempted burglary, and which was Chief of Post at the time of the burglary. On the other hand, Agent 3's function car, whose he had not reported the theft, could have been involved in the burglary.

For now, the police officer and his two accomplices are under guard, waiting to be brought front the justice.
