Haiti - InterReg Caribbean : 3 Haitian projects funded by the EU

The 2nd Selection Committee of the InterReg Caribbean 2014-2020 program made public the list of projects eligible for European funding;

3 projects in partnership with Haiti will benefit from this funding :

- RECAVACA project: Supporting cocoa farmers with the CACCOMA Cooperative: Support for Guadeloupean and Haitian cocoa farmers in order to increase the volume of their production, to perfect their cultivation techniques, for organic labeling of products;
- PREST project: Creation of a geophysical observatory Earth / Sea with the University of Haiti: Monitoring equipment, data acquisition, modeling;
- CARIFORTS project: Creation of a network of forts and fortification of the Caribbean with the Institute for the Safeguarding of the National Patrimony (ISPAN).
