Haiti - Politics : «Increasing effectiveness of Public Investment in Haiti»
Friday, as part of the implementation of the project "Increasing effectiveness of Public Investment in Haiti" Stevenson Jacques Thimoléon, the Director General of the Ministry of Planning, accompanied by the Directors General Hosval Tristantu (Center of Techniques of Planning of Applied Economy) and Pierre Raynaud Julien (National School of Financial Administration) proceeded to the closing of the 2nd training session in cost-benefit analysis for the benefit of 30 officials assigned to the Study Units and Programming of the various sectoral ministries. This training took place on 2 modules : financial analysis and economic analysis of the projects.

In his opening remarks, Jacques Thimoléon, who also acts as coordinator of the project's steering committee, reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Planning, as the entity responsible for steering national development, to upgrade planning in Haiti.

He also took the opportunity to congratulate all participants and hoped that they had appropriated the tools and methodology that had been esxposed to them.

Recall that this training is at its second consecutive year; Last year, 73 public servants had already benefited of it.
