In his opening remarks, Jacques Thimoléon, who also acts as coordinator of the project's steering committee, reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Planning, as the entity responsible for steering national development, to upgrade planning in Haiti. He also took the opportunity to congratulate all participants and hoped that they had appropriated the tools and methodology that had been esxposed to them.
