iciHaiti - Elections : 5,524 new elected officials will take office this month

On Friday, Carlos Hercule, Vice-President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) confirmed that 1,704 elected Boards of Directors of the Communal Sections (CASEC), 3,035 elected Administration of the Communal Sections (ASEC) and 785 city delegates elected in the January 29 elections will take office in June after taking the oath.

Calendar :

From 5 to 11 June: distribution of scarves and insignia to local elected representatives;
June 12-16: the CEP and the Ministry of Justice will take charge of the taking of the oath of elected;
From 19 to 23 June: Installation of elected representatives by departmental delegates and vice-delegates in town halls throughout the country;
June 26-30: Recording and collection of specimen signature of elected officials to be kept in a database of the Ministry of the Interior.

Let's recall that since 2006, there was never an election for ASEC CASEC and city delegates.
