On June 9, the Ambassador of Haiti to the Dominican Republic, Idalbert Pierre Jean, launched the first edition of the Fridays of the Embassy with a conference entitled "An analytical viewpoint on the situation between the Dominican Republic and Haiti and the major files pending."

These fridays, which are part of the continuous training of the staff are spaces for the sharing of knowledge, experience and know-how at the service of the staff of the Embassy and Consulates of Haiti in the Dominican Republic.

In this context, a conference-debate will be organized every fortnight or month, on different subjects: political, economic, social, cultural, legal, etc... which will concern in priority Haiti and the Dominican Republic, but not only.

The Haitian Embassy hopes that these exchanges will promote interpersonal and professional synergy in order to keep the knowledge up to date, for a more efficient performance of the work to be performed and to better represent, promote and defend Haiti and also protect the Haitian community.
