Michel Kendy (28), an actively sought-after crook who pretended to be an officer of the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO), was arrested in uniform and in flagrante delicto in a suburb of Cap-Haitien while he was engaged in a traffic of fake travel documents, announced Wednesday Inspector Jean Pierre Gadner François the Spokesman of the Police in the North.

At the time of his arrest the police seized a false driving license, thirty identity photographs, two mobile phones and more than a dozen passports with a Dominican visa that proved to be false after the expertise of the Dominican Consulate. His victims paid up to 10,000 Gdes to obtain his services as forgers

Kendy is accused of usurping title, forgery, fraud and issuing false identity documents.
